Just about every Sunday I go to church and I learn something new. I always leave with my heart full, and even though I did this last week…I still had some things I felt very convicted about. I’m thankful for this. I’m thankful that every week I’m shown where I’m wrong, what I need to work on, and how I can get there by the grace I am given.
This last week I was shown a lot of areas that I need to work on…
One of them being that it’s so important just to be thankful. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about the “thank-you’s” and sending out thank you cards…but sometimes I forget to say thank you to those who have really helped me through this journey of starting my own business. I’m human. It’s so easy to make everything about yourself when you are trying to get your own business up and running. I’ve been guilty of this and it can eventually just lead you down a dark hole. Unfortunately, I’ve seen this happen to a few people. And the truth is, I never want to become that person.
This is obviously more of a personal post…me just rambling about thoughts and things I’m learning in life. But I also wrote this because I want to say how thankful I am for this blog. How thankful I am that people come and read my posts, or look at pictures…and even sometimes leave little comments with encouraging words. It never gets old. Every person who has been encouraging to me throughout this whole starting my own business thing…I want to say thank you.
Love you, Tonhya. You are so inspiring and beyond that a really great friend. I am thankful for you and so excited that we have become so close this past year. Our random shopping trips, nights in eating dinner and watching silly TV and the occasional dancing nights we have never get old. What am I going to do without you for 5 weeks! 😉
I am so thankful for YOU. Love laughing with you and your work always inspires me to the core. Thank you for your friendship. Love you, girl.
This is why I love you! Keep keepin it real.
Wooo I like you. And I’m thankful for you, too 🙂
We adore you & I am so glad you posted this! So true how easy it is to forget to express gratitude. Great reminder & more importantly, shows how sweet your heart is. I’ve felt honored to watch you grow…like a proud big sis…and it’s just the beginning! xo!
That is such a stunning photo of you, Tanhya! <3
