What a frustrating morning/afternoon this has been. I got up extra early to work away at a blog post I have been wanting to share with you guys for awhile now! You may remember me posting images taken of ME during this shoot…well yes, this shoot is going to have to wait until I fix my stupid mistake. So instead of not posting today I decided that I would give you all an update on the progress of raising money for my trip to Africa. I promised that I would keep everyone up to date as often as possible and I’ve had some people emailing me to see exactly where I am at with funds.
I am completely overwhelmed with how much has already been donated toward this trip in such a short amount of time. I have been blown away by how generous people have been. God is so good. People from all over the country have shown me their love and support by donating. Some of you I have never even met…but someday I hope to hug each and every one of you and thank you in person for all you have done for me. Saying thank you is never going to be enough…
After a little over two weeks, $2810.00 has been donated toward my trip to Africa. (insert long, overwhelming sigh here…) Holy crap guys. Are you kidding me?! That is amazing and I’m pretty much speechless. I have almost $1000 more to raise but I’m so incredibly grateful for every donation that has been made!

In other news…Tuesday my friend Andria and I took a random, last minute road trip to Portland! Kind of like our trip to Canada, but this time we had some awesome models to shoot. I came back with probably some of my favorite work to date. So many great shots thanks to an awesome location, good weather, and sweet models. I can’t wait to share them with you guys! But until then…here is a little sneak peek.
