Alright no more blog fails…the post I have been wanting to share for quite some time is now ready! : )
I know that I always talk about how it is important for us artists to continue planning and executing personal projects. I only say this over and over because it is so true. Awhile back I posted on my photography facebook page that I was wanting some models for a personal project. Within a few minutes the beautiful and very talented photographer, Mikaela, sent me an email saying that her and her boyfriend, Shane, would be willing to drive down from Canada to participate in this shoot! I have always wanted to try shooting at the Ace Hotel here in Seattle. Even though we have all seen it done before, I was beyond excited to challenge myself at shooting in one single room. We all have to continue challenging ourselves, no matter what others say. And hey, you might just surprise yourself… : )
Spending the day with Mikaela and Shane was like hanging out with old friends. We all just instantly clicked and made the day so enjoyable! The fact that they both know and understand photography, they were really up for anything. My kind of people ; ) So thank you, Mikaela and Shane for being my awesome models, it was so much fun getting to know you two!
I hope you all enjoy this little personal project of mine! Happy Tuesday. : )
We ended the day by heading to the water to enjoy the gorgeous sunset! It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
