There is no greater feeling than having a dream, a goal, an idea…and watching it become your actual reality. We live in such an exciting time where we can literally DO ANYTHING. You can create the life you want and just go for it. Yes, you will fail at times…but those failures should only push you to push harder, dream bigger. It’s been a crazy few weeks of watching friends reach their goals, listening to podcasts about young artists making what they LOVE, be what they DO in this life. It’s a choice every morning to wake up and not be conquered by fear and doubt. I’m not going to claim it’s easy because then I would be lying to you…but you should be inspired by the times we live in.
La Femme Forte. The Strong Woman.
An idea that just started from listening to what I found myself truly passionate about. Encouraging women. Making them feel beautiful. Photographing them in a way that celebrates their bodies…“flaws” and all. Identifying myself with other women who struggle with body image and self-confidence…these are the reasons why I created La Femme Forte. I wanted this to be a movement for women. An opportunity for women to treat themselves…to take a day to appreciate and love the NOW that they are in, no matter what may be going through at that time.
La Femme Forte San Francisco could not have been more perfect. I posted a little recap of that day and even thinking about it brings a smile to my face! I’m so thankful to all of the girls who participated and trusted me with such a personal shoot. And I’m obviously forever thankful to my good friend, Joanne, for being my partner in the first run at La Femme Forte. She saw my vision and helped every single step of the way, I am forever grateful to you my dear.

About a month ago or so, I finally released the dates and locations for the next two La Femme Forte events. The next one coming up is happening on July 30th in Los Angeles, California and I am sitting at the edge of my seat ready to meet all my LA ladies.
