{"id":9312,"date":"2012-12-19T13:45:23","date_gmt":"2012-12-19T21:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tonhyakaeblog.com\/?p=9312"},"modified":"2012-12-19T13:45:23","modified_gmt":"2012-12-19T21:45:23","slug":"jonna-39-weeks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tonhyakae.com\/jonna-39-weeks\/","title":{"rendered":"JONNA \/ 39 WEEKS."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s such a surreal time right now.<\/p>\n<p>I feel like it was just yesterday my sister was yelling at me to get out of her room..because obviously having a younger sister hang out with your high school friends is super uncool. But now I&#8217;m sitting in my niece-to-be&#8217;s nursery helping my sister fold tiny baby clothes in preparation to her arrival.<\/p>\n<p>I said this before and I&#8217;ll say it again&#8230;<strong>life is so weird\/awesome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing my beautiful sister. With only days before bringing her little girl into this world, we <em>haaaad<\/em> to be to sure to document this special time in her life. I was nervous, I really wanted her to love them. Truly. I get way more nervous photographing for my family than I do for strangers. Funny how that works. But nonetheless, we knocked it out and had so much fun. I look at these images and I want to cry. I&#8217;m not even sure if I did the best job I possibly could, but it isn&#8217;t about that. It&#8217;s about the experience I had. It&#8217;s about watching my sister look down at her belly and get teary-eyed. It&#8217;s about making my sister feel beautiful. With the experience I had and meaning behind these photos, I can easily say these are some of my favorites.<\/p>\n<p>My family is about to change forever and I couldn&#8217;t be happier. I get teary-eyed even picturing my parents as grandparents. They are going to be good ones. I get teary-eyed thinking of how much my sister and her husbands hearts will melt once they see their little girl for the very first time. I get teary-eyed thinking about the first time I&#8217;ll get to photograph her sweet face. Let&#8217;s be honest here, I&#8217;m an emotional wreck and I love it. People always say try to avoid having a kid around Christmas&#8230;but I&#8217;ll have to disagree, having a baby right around Christmas is the best idea (in my opinion). I&#8217;m surrounded by my family, cozy&#8217;d up by the fireplace while I sipping hot cocoa&#8230;doesn&#8217;t get much better than this.<\/p>\n<p>My heart is full.
