Back in May we had our biggest turn out yet for La Femme Forte<\/a> {I can’t believe we’ve already done 5}<\/em>!! It all went down over a beautiful weekend in none other than San Francisco. It seems that returning to San Fran every year is now a tradition and I hope it continues for years to come. Everything about that weekend was perfect. We had the most beautiful space that gave me ever-changing light throughout the day — which totally helped every girls session to look a little bit different. We had amazing music thanks to Jon<\/a> (Joanne’s hubby)! We also had yummy food, drinks, and beautiful home-made goodies from one of our very own, Rezel<\/a>! It was all so perfect.<\/p>\n

We had ladies join us from ALL<\/strong> walks of life — from mothers with multiple children, fitness & health gurus, food stylists, former dancers, some in the middle of career changes, some going through tough relationship changes, and some even kicking ass doing biotech-cancer research. Women from all different stages of life, different ages, shapes, sizes, color — the list goes on. When I first created the La Femme Forte Project, I dreamed of the events looking exactly this way. I pictured women coming together from all different walks of life for one day of FREEDOM<\/strong>, really. The freedom to love themselves unapologetically. The freedom to drop insecurities and embrace the things that make us unique. The freedom to be surrounded by other women who are just doing their very best in this thing we call life — to encourage and uplift one another rather than compare. This project evolves every time and I still have to pinch myself that women allow me into such a vulnerable space — I will forever be grateful to the women who make this project possible. And a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE, shout-out of gratitude for my two partners in crime who have supported this movement from DAY ONE — Joanne<\/a> & Gaylin<\/a>. I could not pull this off without you both, I am forever grateful for your time, talents, friendship, and goofiness.<\/p>\n
