BOUDOIR.

A word that everyone hates to say. I mean, seriously…how the hell do you properly say BOUDOIR. Everyone sounds like an idiot saying the word, let’s just be honest about that. But we roll with it.

It’s also a word that makes you think of everything sexy. Lingerie. Skin. Sex. Women, women, womennnn. It’s easy to love everything about boudoir sessions am I right?

I’ve been shooting boudoir for about a year now and I can’t begin to express how much I love it. Besides the obvious, there is so much more to these sessions than meets the eye. The stuff you can’t see when looking at a single photo, unless you were there of course. Unless you were a part of the delicate, personal, and intimate process each woman I photograph has gone through to create their art. I’ve talked about this before, but it is something I am so passionate about that I really could go on forever…

Women are beautiful and they should know it. Despite what our outward appearances and personalities looks like to others, every single woman I know, including myself…has something they hate about their bodies. We just do. Some of us embrace those *beautiful* flaws better than others, but the truth is that most of us don’t. We let the enemy get the best of us and we begin to believe the lies we are fed. You need to weigh this amount. You need to eat less of this, more of this. You need to do this new diet. You need to look a certain way so you’re more accepted.

IT’S ALL BULLSHIT.

But we’re all guilty of it at the same time. When I think about being an artist, I want my work to mean something. I want it to represent something bigger than myself. I want it to challenge those who view it, and I want it to have a positive influence. That’s what we all hope for isn’t it? Well 2015 is the year that I want to focus more on that exact thing. Boudoir just happens to be that outlet for me. I want to work with women who not only want to give their man and/or woman some sexy ass photos to enjoy, but I want to work with women who want so much more than that. For them to understand that this is more than just sexy photos. It’s about embracing YOU…ALL of you, flaws and all. I can’t begin to describe the joy I get when I receive letters from my boudoir girls saying how empowered they felt after their shoot or how they’ve never felt more beautiful. THAT, my friends, is what it’s all about.

CALLING ALL LADIES. NYC CHICKS. SEATTLE BABES. HOTTIES ALL OVER THE WORLD…let’s do this.

It’s time to let your freak flag fly. It’s time to pamper yourself. It’s time to see just how beautiful you really are.

NOW BOOKING BOUDOIR for the 2015 year and IT’S GONNA BE A GOOD ONE.

// so many exciting things in the works with BOUDOIR. can’t wait to get started.
