We have our moments… We have our days… We even sometimes have our seasons…
I’m talking about us “artists” or actually anyone really. We have these times in our lives where we hit a wall. We come to a place where we need nothing more than a little bit of inspiration.
It is so important that we take some time for ourselves to find that one thing that makes our heart beat faster, our eyes grow larger, and our souls feel warmer. Inspiration. We. Need. It.
As I begin this journey of starting my own business as a photographer, I often find myself thinking too far into the future. It’s living in the “now” that I constantly need to be reminded to do! So if you ever hear me blab on and on about all the stuff I WANT to be doing in the future, just slap me and tell me to start doing it NOW. 🙂 Thanks in advance!
Last night I had to laugh at myself because I had realized what an old lady at heart I am. A friend of mine and I spent our Friday night, yes you heard right…our FRIDAY night, at a craft store collecting all sorts of fun stuff to put together on our already planned “Craft Day”. We also spent a good 2-3 hours at Barnes & Noble, which by the way is some of the best therapy :). If I could live there, I would. Really. As I collected all of the amazing fashion magazines that I always drool over but can’t afford to buy and headed to a comfy chair…a light bulb went off. I realized that I have let a true passion of mine take the backseat for far too long. This is my inspiration.
Fashion photography. Period.
Even though fashion photography is not my main focus in my business right now, I still find myself so inspired by everything involved in fashion photography. I could on forever, really…BUT instead i will show you some photos I came across last tonight that made my heart beat faster, my eyes grow larger, and my soul feel warmer.
