MAKENZIE & ANDREW // MARRIED.

This wedding feels at home to me.

The scenery, the textures, the tones…it’s all home to me.
It probably helps that this wedding took place 5 minutes down the road from where I grew up…

Makenzie and Andrew grew up in the town next to me and I was so excited when they told me their wedding was taking place there. The relaxed, country vibe is right up my alley. I love that my job can take me to a fancy affair where the bride is rockin four-inch stilettos, to a down and dirty country wedding with cowboy boots and all. Their wedding was the perfect country wedding. What made their day even sweeter was that these two have known each other all their lives and what was once a childhood crush turned into one beautiful wedding and marriage. I adore these two more than they know. Their love is real and they’re not afraid to show it. They are both hilarious and literally had me laughing until my belly ached at both their engagement shoot and their wedding. That is just who they are.

I’m so excited to finally share this wedding with you guys…simply because it feels like home.

Today was the perfect day to post these wonderful pictures. Makenzie’s dad and I have been married 28 years today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for documenting one of the best days ever.
