This past weekend I made my way back to my hometown in Eastern Washington. That last time I was there was Christmas…which is way too long to be away from home. There is something about going back out to the country that will never get old. I love going home more than anything now. I am able to slow down, relax, sit outside in the sun with family and just enjoy life in that moment and be fully present. Here in Seattle, it is so easy to get ahead of myself…always thinking about my next move rather than just living in the moment. This is something I’m constantly trying to work on…
Along with being able to visit my family, I also had two wonderful engagement sessions with couples who are from the east side. I can’t begin to explain how excited I was for these two sessions. It was a dream to be out of Seattle, photographing out in the country in unique spots I know I could never find in Seattle. The first couple I photographed have a very special place in my heart…
Meet Keitha and Casey. Keitha is basically my older sister. We have been in each other’s lives FOOOORRR-EV-ER. I’ll have to touch more on this when I post their full session. I am so happy for these two, they are perfect for each other in every way. I had so much fun photographing them, even if it was 7:30 in the morning! : ) Love you two!
Enjoy!
