I was up thinking last night…thinking about how far I have come with my photography. Being able to look back at old photos and realize how much I have learned about not only the technical aspects of photography, but about light, composition, and my interaction with my subjects. It’s a little overwhelming and sometimes a little embarrassing to see old photos…hee hee. So of course I decided to go through some old folders of photo sessions I did a couple years back and I came across this little gem of a family. Heather is one of my aunt’s sister’s and she was kind enough to let me take some photos of her family to gain some more experience. Now these may not have the best technical qualities ever, but I just love the sweetness in these kids. Henry and Hazel are seriously the cutest! For anyone that knows cameras…these were shot when I only had the Canon REBEL. Yikes. 🙂 Regardless, this was a such a fun shoot and I learned a lot. AND at the end of this post you will be able to see how these two cuties have grown! (I’ll post the rest of that session soon!)
Enjoy.
The next two are pictures I took of Henry and Hazel this past October. Don’t you just want to pinch their little cheeks!?
It’s always fun to look back on old photos. Even though you have grown tremendously as a photographer since you shot those photos, you have always had an amazing eye 🙂 God has truly gifted you!
