FEATURED ARTIST FRIDAY / JAMIE DELAINE

This Fridays Featured Artist is a young, spunky, talented wedding photographer based in Vancouver! Her name is Jamie Delaine.
I first came across Jamie’s blog sometime last year and I was immediately blown away by her photography. It seemed to speak such truth, and I felt the passion she has for photography right through the images. And then when I found out how old Jamie was…I was so impressed by what a young, successful business woman she is! She is only 19!!! Jamie, you are amazing girl. I hope everyone can find some sort of inspiration from Jamie today. Whether it be from her stunning photos, her drive and perseverance, or the lovely woman of God she is. Meet Jamie.

Here is a little about Jamie in her own words…

A girl in love with so many things. In love with living life, laughing until my stomach hurts, drinking green tea, rainy Vancouver days, cardigan sweaters, learning to love people selflessly. The little things make me smile & I don’t mean just any smile… the kind of smile that causes my cheeks to swallow my eyes.

The smile God chose to give me (although I hated it for years!) is undoubtedly a reflection of my personality. I’m an all or nothing kind of girl: why smile halfway when you can throw your head back and laugh with your eyes? I’m anti-mediocrity, easily growing tired of the ordinary. I am constantly dreaming and seeking out new ways to express my creativity.

Nothing excites me more than meeting couples that are uniquely and truly themselves. Collaborating with my clients, we create photographs that are authentic and real: overflowing with laughter and life. Simply put, I’m all about capturing genuine images of people who love.

Wow!!!!!!!! I was just checking out her website yesterday through showitfast.com and I just loved it! Her work is stunning…and ONLY 19?!? All I can say is amazing! I hope to meet this girl! 🙂
