I love my job.
I know I say this ALL THE TIME, but seriously…there are so many awesome things about my job that I realize I sometimes take for granted. One major thing I adore about my job is that I can basically make my own schedule, which is very convenient when you want to plan a spontaneous and random last-minute trip to Canada. : ) When Andria heard I had never been to Canada before she freaked….I mean really, she started squealing and immediately planned this trip. So a couple weeks ago on a random Tuesday, we packed our cameras, passports, puppy chow, and even though she does NOT need it…Andria made sure not to forget her Go Girl. (if you’ve ever met Andria, you know that an energy drink is the LAST thing this chick needs.) Hee hee, and this is one of the many reasons I love this girl. I’ve never met someone so stoked on life and her energy is simply contagious. I can’t help but laugh and shake my head when this girl is jumping off the walls with excitement after a photo shoot. Being a photographer is perfect for Andria. Plain and simple.
This mini road trip was seriously so much fun. Andria and I talked about our businesses, our dreams, our fears, our hopes, and laughed throughout the whole day. It’s days like that where I can’t even believe all I have been blessed with. I’m so undeserving of all the great things God blesses me with. And Andria is someone I am so thankful for…she challenges me to find the good in everything. She finds humor in almost everything and the one thing I admire about her most is her love for the Lord. She makes me want to be a better woman of God, so thank you for that Andria.
Hope you all enjoy this fun post! Exploring Canada with camera in hand with an awesome friend is exactly what I needed. I came back feeling so refreshed and inspired. We all need to make time in our lives for spontaneous things like this, life is too short not to enjoy the simple pleasures. Like today…are you kidding me Seattle?! THE SUN IS OUT and it is BEAUTIFUL. Take a break from your computers and take a walk : )

For lunch we went to this new place called Meat & Bread…if you ever take a trip up to Vancouver you MUST go there. SO GOOD.
Being a photographer means you’re automatically and rule-breaker. Its just in our nature. So finding random cars and climbing all over them is just how we roll. I would apologize, but some of these photos of Andria working this car are some of my favorites!!! Work it guuuurl.
