There is a place that holds some of her favorite memories.
That place just happens to be my aunt’s backyard, which happens to be her sister’s backyard. “Her” being this beautiful bride, Amber.
I have a sweet little place in my heart for backyard weddings. It’s something that is hard to explain in words, but it’s something I wish I had more of. I get to be a part of something intimate, something real, something that holds sweet memories, something that isn’t factory and is “home” for some, something that has wonderful stories that only a select few get to hear. It’s something special and I simply adore it. I am so grateful that Amber and Jerad asked me to be a part of something this special, this intimate. Their wedding day was so beautiful…a day full of laughter, kind words, sweet kisses, waves crashing upon the shore, fire crackling under the stars, and most importantly…the words “I do.”
Amber and Jerad, thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your wedding day. It was such a treat to photograph your love in a place that holds such sweet memories for both of us. I will never forget that day.
