Today is a very special day.
It’s a day that deserves recognition and a freakin’ round of applause.
A day that sadly not many marriages these days get to witness and celebrate.
Today is my parents 30th Anniversary and I couldn’t be more proud of them.
I know it hasn’t been easy and I’m sure there has been times when they wanted to just run away…but they didn’t and that alone is something to be admired. I admire my parents so much. As I get older, it’s easier to see all the sacrifices, the long hours, the multiple jobs, the headaches, and the late nights they had to put up with just to raise us kids. It’s easier to see now just how difficult it must have been…to manage all that and still keep your marriage afloat.
So very proud of my parents today. And every day.
Mom and dad…(since I know you’ll be checking my blog this evening, wishing and hoping I don’t blog about you guys! Mwwhaha.) I love you both so dearly and I’m so lucky you two are my parents. I’ll never be able to return the amount of love you’ve given all of us throughout the years and that you still continue to give. You have such generous hearts and I’m so blessed to have grown up around those hearts. Love you.

OK my little one,I guess having a daughter who’s a photographer shouldn’t surprise me that you hijack these old pictures from our photo albumns and share them to the world 🙂 Yes 30 years with your mother but when you love each other – “time stands still” but you kids keep getting older.I have never even thought of running away just for awhile – you kids have always been very easy to raise and I was fortunate to marry someone who has always been very patient with me (sometimes I get a little excited)and has always showed love to me no matter what the circumstances.Looking forward to many more years together.
