It’s been awhile guys. Isn’t that how all my blog posts seem to start these days?
I thought it was time to say hello, get this blog back up and running (crossing my fingers on this one), and just give a little update on life/business.
This year is an interesting one to say the least. It looks different than all the rest — which is both exciting and terrifying. The unknown that is. I moved to New York 2.5 years ago with hopes of exploring different opportunities – whether they were photography related or not, I wanted to try new things and that seems to be naturally happening whether I like it or not. Some things remain the same though. I still seem to fall madly in love with New York at least once a week. I’m still photographing people in love and I adore it and appreciate it more and more these days. I’m still trying to travel as much as I can — I hope that habit sticks around for life. I’m still continuing my project, La Femme Forte, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the women who join and allow this thing to continue breathing life. I’m still a total mess when it comes to figuring out my life and what I want to do — it’s forever changing and I’m learning to be okay with that. I’m still always missing my family and friends on the west coast like crazy, but thankful for a job that allows me to see them throughout the year.
Well, that is my hello and update on life. What have you guys been up to? Anyone still look at these things called blogs?
Stick around, more to come.

Finally got to photograph a sweet couple in the cherry blossoms this year! I’ve always wanted to.

Still shooting lots of engagement sessions and this sweet pup came along to one of them! So cute.

I finally put my ass in gear and knocked out a personal shoot! Thanks to my friend James Moes for helping me navigate my unsettled mind and anxieties that come from doing this type of thing.

Still photographing so many amazing women which brings my creative heart to life. Gearing up for a HUGE weekend of La Femme Forte in San Francisco this Saturday and Sunday. We have 12 girls joining us and I could not be more excited to meet and photograph them. More on this soon.

I also had the pleasure of shooting the look-book for 21.Daze which was a ton of fun. Get your drop-crotch pants HERE.

Went on an amazing 5-day road trip with my mother throughout Utah and Arizona. Be sure to follow along on The Top Knot blog for all the details from that trip! Can’t wait to share all the photos from this trip — this world is freakin’ incredible.

My beautiful baby nephew, Emmett James, was born this year and I can’t even remember our family before him. He is perfect in every way and I’m so thankful he is here.

I also finally completed my branding with these Custom Flash Drives from USB Memory Direct. They did an amazing job and I can’t wait to send these out to my wedding couples this year! It’s been a few years and I’m still obsessed with my branding, thats a good sign. Forever thankful to Julia for doing an amazing job.
