I’m still pinching myself on this Monday afternoon.
About a week and a half ago, I held my second round of the on-going La Femme Forte Project. If you haven’t been keeping up, I launched this project earlier this year and haven’t looked back. Our first stop was in San Francisco and it was everything I dreamed it would be, but more. I’ll never forget all the girls who joined my first stop, they believed in something that was new and I can’t thank them enough for that.
This time I headed straight back to California, LA to be exact. Going into my second stop for this project I was hit with all sorts of nervousness. I wanted it live up to the first one. I wanted it to be a success just like the first one was. Going forward, I need to remind myself that there is no reason to be nervous…the type of women that I’m attracting toward this project are MY PEOPLE. These are women who are REAL. They have insecurities, they come in nervous as hell, but at the end of the day they believe in something bigger…they believe what I believe. Women are damn strong. Women are sexy in their skin. Women should be encouraging one another, lifting each other up and celebrating just being strong women.
My girls for LA were all my little Asian babes and I love each and every one of them! The day was filled with so many laughs, great conversations, encouragement, way too much food, not enough alcohol, the best kinds of lingerie, make-up & hair so on point (thanks to my girl Jenny!), dancing, and lots of sun-chasing. A huge thank you to Michelle from Modern Fit who was my partner in crime for the LA stop. The day was perfect in every way…
Nothing feels more right at this point. This project is my baby and it’s here to stay. I feel so passionate about where this is going and what type of ladies are joining. Each and every single one of them are the reason why this project has been a success so far. Words can’t express my gratitude toward my La Femme Forte ladies.

I has the tears. I seriously could not be happier. To see that second LFF happened! To see how much crazy talent you have to take these ladies – all so different and beautiful – THERE. To work this location and all it’s little spots and rays of light like it’s nobody’s business. To see your creativity and passion combining into one awesome project. It’s just great and I can’t wait to see the next.
