La Femme Forte…what can I even say that I haven’t already said? My baby. My dream. My passion. My project. My true love right now.
This project is evolving, growing, and gaining traction…I couldn’t be more excited about the future of LFF. Hosting this event in Seattle was like a dream come true. It’s hard to put words to how I really feel after the day is said and done, but if I had to sum it up in three words, they would be: CRAZY. SEXY. COOL. Shoutout to all my TLC fans out there who caught that one. From the time my nervous little hunnies arrive to start getting their hair and make-up done, to the last shot of their boudoir session with me…there is a transformation that I can see, a shift in posture, a proudness & giddiness that overcomes each woman. It’s a beautiful thing to witness from my point of view. It’s the little comments throughout the day that really encourage me to keep this project going. I often hear the girls chatting about how much fun they had and how beautiful they feel…how shocked they were by how easy it was and how comfortable I made them feel in their skin. THESE are the comments that keep me going, that give me the direction to keep evolving this project. My Seattle ladies were nothing short of amazing and once again I can’t thank each and every single one of them enough for putting the trust in me to document them in such a beautiful way. Every girl has her story and I feel so lucky that I get to photograph them in a way that is just raw and real. Nothing feels more amazing to me.
