The day is finally here my friends…there are some of you who have waited so patiently for this day and I thank you for that. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for my job. I could not have asked for a better turn-out for this contest. I am still completely blown away by the stories and effort put forth by every couple. Well the day is finally here, where I get to announce some very excited news to everyone…!
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am thrilled to announce that this year’s winners are…drum roll please…

Now, I’ll tell you a little more about Celine and Nathan soon…but first, I must talk about YOU.
Participants…you are incredible. You made this more than difficult for me and the other judges. There were seriously moments where I thought I might not be able to choose or do this next year! Check out some of the footage of the judges below. : ) As you can see there was concentration, laughing, crying, napping, and celebrating! I can’t thanks my judges enough for the amount of time and effort they put toward picking the winner!
You are…open, genuine, honest, funny, romantic, blessed, generous, and deserving.
It took HOURS!!! to deliberate on who would win.
Here’s what DIDN’T MATTER: who was oldest/youngest, who had already booked, who I already knew, who had the ‘most desirable’ location, who was most romantic, who had the most dire situation, who was most creative, and so on. So what did matter then?
To be honest most of it was the fact that I just couldn’t get Celine and Nathan out of my mind and from tugging at my heart. It was a gut feeling for all three judges. We just knew!

You are beautiful. You are doctors, single mothers, students, high school sweethearts, one-night-stands gone wrong ; ), unlikely run-ins, survivors, online daters, caretakers, best friends, truck drivers, career women, believers, lovers…you name it! I am so honored to have met you! Thank you for taking the time to share your stories with me. I honestly hope that I’ll still have the chance to be a part of your lives and your wedding days.
