#tidbit1 Who really enjoys writing this part, am I right? Not me, nope. But here’s the deal, I tend to dig deep into my couples so I guess it’s only fair that I share a little about myself. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an awful memory (get it?). Not in the lame excuse kind of way, in the real way. Photos and visual reminders have been the best, and sometimes only way, for me to remember some of the details of my life. That used to make me quite sad, but now I’ve fully embraced it and made it a part of my career and passion.
#tidbit2 There are days in my life I wish I had photos of so that I could go back to those moments and relive that sweet memory once more. We’ve all heard it a thousand times, “Your wedding day will go by in a blink of an eye.” And sadly, it’s so true. If I can be the person who documents some of the most special moments in someone’s life so that 40+ years from now they can look at that image and emotionally transport back to that exact moment…well my friends, I’d call that a damn good job to have and such an amazing gift to give someone.
#tidbit3 And for the pointless facts I know you’re all dying to know:
– A good cup of tea or cocoa over coffee any day.
– A grey, cloudy day for shooting in over sunshine.
– Sundays over any other day of the week.
– Sushi and thai food over all other dishes.
– Black, grey, and white in my closet over color.
– My family and Jesus over everything, always.
